2024 Season Recap & Finale!
“Life is like riding a bicycle.
To keep your balance, you must keep moving.”
There are some things that are old, some things that are new, some things that are futuristic, and some things that stand the test of time. This good and solid advice, as given by Albert Einstein to his son almost a century ago, is still so valuable today and very applicable to our business.
We have had many challenges executing this program in the U.S., but we also have had a lot of blessings along the way. This year especially, we were hit with severe weather and quite a few supply-chain delays, despite our spot-on planning. The reality is that so many things must go right, but in the end, it is about moving forward and keeping our balance that matters.
Our mission is to supply the U.S. consumer with fresh, sweet, and delicious citrus during the summer months every week. Our goal is to complement US domestic citrus production when otherwise unavailable. Our main attributes and selling points are 1) the quality of our product, 2) our sophisticated supply chain, 3) choosing the right partners and long-term relationships, and 4) our real-time communication to the trade.
Although we experienced challenges during the 2024 season, with volumes down by only ± 10%, this should illustrate our growers’ commitment to the U.S. market.
We are still a unique model of collaboration connecting a group of very complex service providers across the supply chain ensuring we adhere to citrus demand in the U.S.
As we close the 2024 season, I thank you and our loyal service providers for their continued contribution to our program.
Please enjoy this video as a compilation of the 2024 season, showing very familiar faces and including their comments on the overall program.
